Flash card practice (Teacher resource sheet 81)

This link displays some triangle cards for you to print.

Students could work in pairs. One partner hides a number on the triangle to see if the other person can complete the family of facts. If the answer is correct, the answerer gets to keep the card and ask the next question. If the answer is incorrect, the partner shows them another triangle. This way the student who most needs the practice gets the practice. Winning students from two teams can then play against each other, and losing students can as well.

Students could work in groups to match a word problem with an equation and then draw a diagram to show why they think it matches.
