Rich tasks

  • This task requires students to measure the weight and capacity of some gumboots and areas of the soles of the gumboots. Students are asked to see if there is any relationship between these measurements and the distance the gumboots can be thrown. The task can be given at the start of a topic and done as the students gain enough understanding to complete it.
